Main SI set control numbers

PAPO’s main control set is the full range of numbers $31\to 129$ with a few exclusions as noted below and some duplicated. taking into account the excluded numbers, there are 93 distinct numbers available.

If you are using the PAPO Condes license, controls that could are not available cannot be allocated when planning a course.

Excluded numbers

• $30$ (numbering starts from $31$).
• $66 \leftrightarrow 99$
• $68 \leftrightarrow 89$
• $86\leftrightarrow98$
• The above are excluded as they can easily be mis-read upside-down.

Duplicate numbers

To be used for high-volume control site where 2 boxes are to be placed (such as the final control or a pivot control)

• $40$
• $55, 77, 88$ (pivot/high traffic controls)
• $100$ (final control)

Up to 10 temporary duplicates can be created if required for particular events.

Training SI set

The PAPO training set is reserved for trainings, so will not generally be used for events. Where there are multiple events on a weekend the training set may be brought into use to provide an additional set of SI boxes.

The training set includes control numbers $31\to54$ (24 distinct numbers available).
